This book presents very good processes along with thorough explanations and numerous examples. It is very well written, so anyone could easily understand it. It would be useful to any business owner, and should be considered by both new and experienced professionals alike.
The techniques presented within have been invaluable in key areas where we previously lacked direction. This book has helped me realize where many of our deficiencies were hidden. I can honestly report that this book has helped us transform for the better, and THAT is the true measure of its value.

As a marketing communication consultant I thought I had all the answers when it came to helping my customers grow their customer base but after just skimming a few pages of this book and then sitting down and reading it from cover to cover, I realized that I only had about half of them! This put into perspective for me that there was a logical way to generate new ideas and they come from a process and that process has to be facilitated. This excellent book will show you the way and I would recommend it for anyone who owns a business and could use more customers, or your business is to help others grow theirs.

“Creating Demand” by Tabio & Beamer offers a very well reasoned and straightforward approach to a very challenging proposition — how to generate new ideas that drive your business. Their premise, that “ideas are the new currency”, is compelling. And, their solution, “Creating Demand”, offers a disciplined, detailed approach to facilitating the development of marketing ideas that can work in the marketplace.
Generating new product or service ideas is the lifeblood of any business. This book offers a very practical guide to institutionalizing the process of idea generation within your company – a process that the authors sell in their consulting practice. That is, they’ve served up their “Secret Sauce” for developing a workable, streamlined idea generation tool that any business can use and implement. Their advice and value proposition is thorough and well organized. This is clearly one of those “how to” books worth the price of ownership.
It’s not very often that a highly regarded consultancy will offer their core competency at the mere price of a book. Recommend you take them up on their offer.
